Swapping out the SSD on your Steam Deck isn't for the faint of heart, but if you're up for a bit of tech adventure, here's the gist: First, make sure you've got the right tools and a compatible SSD. Then, power down your Steam Deck and remove the back cover. You'll see the SSD right there—carefully disconnect the old one, then connect your new SSD. Reassemble and you're good to go! Remember, patience and precision are key.

Just don't. Opening your Steam Deck can void the warranty. It's a risky move unless you really know what you're doing.

I replaced mine last week, not too hard. Just follow a good tutorial, take it slow, and remember to ground yourself to avoid static! Totally worth it for the extra space.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
