First, back up your data to a USB or the cloud. Unplug your PS4 and remove the cover on the left side. Unscrew and remove the HDD bay, swap in the new drive, and reassemble. Finally, reinstall the system software using a USB drive.

Backup your data, remove the cover and screws, swap the hard drives, and reinstall the system software. Easy peasy!

Honestly, just get an external HDD. Way easier and no need to open up your PS4.

From experience, back up your important data first! Then just pop off the cover, unscrew the drive bay, replace the drive, and reinstall everything. Takes about an hour.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
