You can also report suspicious messages by clicking on 'More' (three dots) in Messenger and selecting 'Something's Wrong.'
I had to do this last week. Go to the scam post, click on the three dots (top right), and select 'Find support or report post.' Facebook reviews it pretty quickly!
Honestly, just block them and move on. Reporting might not do anything.
