How to request Family Sharing on Steam
BustingSpire路7 months agoHot take: Family Sharing is cool, but remember only one person can play from the library at a time. So, if you wanna dive into your fave game and someone's already playing something from your library, you'll have to wait.

From experience, make sure everyone logs into Steam on the computer you're setting up Family Sharing on. It's a bit of a hassle but worth it. Shared my library with my brother and it's been smooth sailing. Just keep in mind games with third-party keys or restrictions might not be sharable.
Setting up Family Sharing on Steam is easy peasy! First, log into your Steam account and head to the 'Steam' menu in the top left corner. Click on 'Settings', then 'Family'. Here, you'll see an option to 'Authorize Library Sharing on this computer'. Just check that, and then you can choose which accounts can share your game library on that computer. Remember, the person you want to share with has to log into Steam on the same computer first so their account shows up for selection.
