Research in Terraria isn't a feature in the traditional sense like in strategy or simulation games. Since Terraria is more about exploration and crafting, what you might be looking for is how to discover crafting recipes or learn about items and their uses. For that, the Guide NPC is your go-to! Just hand him any item, and he'll tell you what you can craft with it. Also, don't forget to check out the Terraria Wiki online for a treasure trove of info!

Actually, there's no 'research' in Terraria like you're thinking. Just play, explore, and craft. You'll learn everything you need as you go. The game's more about adventure than hitting the books!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
