Did this last week! Just held the reset button on my Roku stick for 20 seconds, and voilà — it reset perfectly.
Go to Settings > System > Advanced System Settings > Factory Reset on your Roku menu. Follow the steps, and your stick is good as new!
Just unplug it and plug it back in. Sometimes technology loves the classic off-and-on trick!
