Hey there! To reset your campaign number in XCOM 2, you just need to delete the save files. Navigate to C:\Users\[Your Username]\Documents\my games\XCOM2\XComGame\SaveData and remove the save files you want to reset. Easy peasy!

I had the same issue! Just head to the save file location in your Documents, find the XCOM2 folder, and clear out those saves. Fresh start guaranteed!
