Actually, there's no direct 'reset' button. What you wanna do is get your character in a situation where the automated system or a creature takes you out. That way, you respawn at the start of the area or the last checkpoint. Kind of a roundabout reset, but it works.
Just quit to the main menu and reload your game. It's the universal reset!
