All you gotta do is hold the power button until it beeps twice. That's it. Easy peasy!
To manually reset your PS3, turn off the system, then hold the power button for around 10 seconds until you hear a second beep. This will reset the display settings.
Unplug it, wait 10 seconds, plug it back in, and turn it on. Old-school power cycle always works!
