Just go Settings > Initialization > Initialize PS4. Did it last week and my console’s been running like new!

Hold the power button for about 7 seconds until you hear two beeps, then select 'Initialize PS4' from Safe Mode. Easy peasy!

To reset your PS4, go to Settings > Initialization > Initialize PS4. Then choose either Quick (simple wipe) or Full (complete wipe).
