Had this issue once myself! Just re-pair the remote by pressing the button in the battery compartment after rebooting your Roku device and you'll be golden!
If your Roku remote isn't cooperating, try removing the batteries and holding the power button for about 10 seconds. Then pop the batteries back in and try pairing again.
To reset your Roku remote, simply remove the batteries from the remote, unplug the Roku device, and then plug it back in. Once you see the Roku logo on your TV, put the batteries back in the remote and press the pairing button inside the battery compartment until the light starts flashing. Voila, pairing magic!
