Easy-peasy! Just head to the top left of your Steam client, click 'Steam' in the menu, and then 'Exit'. Once Steam has fully closed, reopen it by clicking its shortcut on your desktop or searching for it in your Start menu. It's like giving your Steam a quick nap and wake-up call!

Honestly, sometimes just turning it off and on again does wonders. Works for Steam too - just close it completely and pop it open again. Have you tried turning it off and on again? Classic IT advice.

Pro tip: If Steam is being stubborn and not closing properly, fire up the Task Manager (CTRL + SHIFT + ESC), find Steam under the 'Processes' tab, and hit 'End Task'. Then just restart it as you normally would. It's the digital equivalent of a gentle nudge.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
