Restarting TikTok is a piece of cake. Swipe up on the app to close it if you're on iOS or use the app switcher on Android to force quit it.

I鈥檝e had to do this a bunch of times. Just force quit the app and reopen it. If you're on iOS, double-click the Home button or swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the app switcher. Then swipe up on TikTok to close it. For Android, go to Settings > Apps > TikTok > Force Stop.
