If you want a fresh start, delete the app, reinstall it, and log in with a different Game Center or Facebook account.
I restarted by deleting the app and reinstalling it. I then created a new Game Center account. Worked like a charm!
Easiest way? Remove the app and download it again. Don't sign in with your old credentials, though.
