You can restore the file system on your PS3 by going into Safe Mode. Turn off the PS3, then hold the power button until you hear two beeps. Connect a controller, select 'Restore File System', and follow the prompts. Easy peasy!

Plug in your controller with a USB cable and power on the PS3 while holding the power button until you hear a second beep. This boots you into Safe Mode. Choose 'Restore File System' and let it do its magic.

Hold the power button down for you to hear that *second beep*. Then follow the steps to restore the file system.

Why restore? Just give your PS3 a little TLC by booting into Safe Mode and selecting 'Restore File System'. Hold the power button 'til you hear two beeps and you're golden!

From my experience, turning off the PS3 and rebooting in Safe Mode by holding the power button until two beeps is the trick. Choose 'Restore File System'. Simple as that!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
