Dude, if it's digital, just go through your purchase history on your Xbox account and request a refund. For physical games, head back to the store with the receipt. Done deal.
Bought it digitally? Hit up the Microsoft Store's refund page, sign in, and fill out the form there. If it's a physical copy, take it back to the store where you bought it with the receipt. Easy peasy!
