Easy peasy! Just go to System Settings > Console Settings > System Info. Write down your console's serial number. Then, go to System Settings > Storage, highlight any storage device (but don't select it), press Y, and choose 'Format.' Enter the serial number and confirm. Boom, factory settings!

First-hand experience here鈥攈ad to reset my Xbox 360 when it started acting up. Just go to Settings > System > Storage. Highlight your storage device and press Y for Device Options. Select Format, enter your console's serial number when prompted, and you鈥檙e golden.

You can restore it to factory settings by navigating to System Settings > Storage, then press Y on your storage device and select 'Format.'聽It'll ask for your console's serial number, which you can find in System Settings > Console Settings > System Info.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
