Actually, there's a quicker way if you're in a rush! Some objectives also pop up on your screen if you use the in-game map, so you don't always have to dive into the menus. Handy for when you're deep in the Forbidden Forest and can't remember if you're supposed to be collecting moonstones or fighting a horde of angry centaurs.
TBH most objectives are pretty clear if you pay attention to the dialogue and the markers on your map. I rarely find myself needing to check.
