How to revive NPCs in Terraria
ArisingWard路8 months agoI once lost my Guide right before I wanted to fight the Wall of Flesh, and was freaking out. But turns out, all I had to do was wait until the next day (in-game) and make sure his house was still up to standards. By the next morning, there he was, ready to not be thrown into lava again.

Pro tip: If your NPC isn't respawning, double-check the housing. Sometimes, a random block will be out of place, or a wall got damaged, and you didn't notice. Fix that, and it's like ringing the dinner bell for them to come home.
To revive NPCs in Terraria, you just need a bit of patience! Make sure you have an available room that meets the requirements for an NPC to live in - it needs proper walls, a chair, a table, and sufficient lighting. If you've got that sorted, they'll respawn during the day, as long as you're not too close to their designated area. So, just keep adventuring or fiddle around in a different part of your world, and they should pop back up in no time.
Honestly, just wait it out. NPCs come back on their own as long as you have the proper housing for them. No rituals needed.
If they're not coming back, you're doing something wrong. House them right, and they can't resist returning.
