Getting a mount in Terraria is pretty straightforward! First, you'll need to get a mount item, which can drop from certain enemies or be found in chests. Some popular ones are the Slimy Saddle or the Honeyed Goggles. Once you've got one, just go to your inventory, select the mount item, and use it. Voila, you're now riding your new mount! Just hit the R key (if you're on PC) to summon or dismiss it.
IDK why everyone makes it sound so complicated. Find a mount item, click it in your inventory, and boom, you're on a mount. It's that easy.
