Running .exe files on your Steam Deck is a breeze once you switch over to Desktop Mode. From there, you can easily install Wine or Proton, which are compatibility layers that enable Windows applications and games to run on Linux-based systems like SteamOS. Then, simply download your .exe file, right-click, and choose to open with Wine or through Steam using the 'Add a Non-Steam Game' option.

Actually, you really shouldn't. Running .exe files directly kinda defeats the purpose of having a curated Steam environment. Stick to the Steam store and verified third-party apps for a hassle-free experience.

Dude, just get into Desktop Mode and use Wine. It's like, the easiest workaround to get those pesky .exe files running.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
