Just set Steam to run as admin and it'll do the rest. Right-click on your Steam shortcut, pick 'Properties', head over to 'Compatibility', and check 'Run this program as an administrator'. Restart Steam, and your games should follow suit.

Right click the game in your Steam library, go to 'Properties', hit 'Local Files', and then 'Browse'. In the game folder, find the game's .exe file, right click it, go to 'Properties', navigate to the 'Compatibility' tab, and check 'Run this program as an administrator'. Apply and okay everything, and boom, you're set!

Honestly, most games on Steam don't need admin rights to run well. Running as admin could lead to security risks or mess with your save files. Always try running games normally before going down the admin path.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
