You can't run Pokemon GO in the background, but Adventure Sync will track your steps even when the app is closed. Just make sure it's enabled in your settings!

From my experience, you can't actually run Pokemon GO in the background. The game needs to be open for catching Pokemon, spinning PokeStops, etc. But Adventure Sync can count your steps for egg hatching!

Nah, Pokemon GO won't run in the background. Gotta keep it open to catch 'em all!

Adventure Sync feature is your best bet. It syncs with your phone鈥檚 health data to count your steps even when the game is not running. Just make sure to turn it on in the settings.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
