How to run power in Fallout 4
ScoldingIrony路7 months agoRunning power in Fallout 4 is like piecing together the world's most satisfying puzzle. First, you'll need a power source, like a generator. Place it anywhere you like, but keep it safe from attacks! Then, use power conduits or pylons to spread the electricity around. To connect them, you have to enter workshop mode, aim at the generator, and press the button to attach a wire (it's 'Space' on PC, 'Triangle' on PS4, and 'Y' on Xbox One). Finally, connect your power lines to the objects needing electricity. Remember, the bigger the setup, the more power you'll need. So, don't skimp on those generators!

To power your stuff in Fallout 4, just slap down some generators and connect them to the things with wires. Easy peasy.
Honestly, just jam a bunch of generators and throw wires everywhere. It鈥檚 Fallout, not an electrician simulator. Things don鈥檛 have to look pretty; they just gotta work.
A pro tip from my playthrough: Always start by figuring out how much power your settlement needs. Each item that requires power will tell you how much. Add all those up, and make sure your generators can produce at least that much. Overproducing power doesn鈥檛 hurt, and it leaves room for expansion!
