How to Run a Steam Game as Administrator
DepetallingMummy路7 months agoRunning a Steam game as admin is pretty simple! Just find the game's executable file (.exe) in your Steam folder (usually under 'steamapps' then 'common'), right-click it, go to Properties > Compatibility, and check 'Run this program as an administrator'. Don't forget to hit OK to save the changes!

If you ask me, there's rarely a need to run Steam games as admin. Modern games and Steam itself are designed to work well without those extra permissions. Unless you're troubleshooting a specific issue, I'd stick to the standard settings.
Just run Steam as administrator by right-clicking the Steam shortcut and choosing 'Run as administrator'. This usually gives all games you launch admin rights too, but it's a bit of a sledgehammer approach. Be cautious, as it might affect how some games save their data.
