Running a Steam game as admin is pretty simple! Just find the game's executable file (.exe) in your Steam folder (usually under 'steamapps' then 'common'), right-click it, go to Properties > Compatibility, and check 'Run this program as an administrator'. Don't forget to hit OK to save the changes!

If you ask me, there's rarely a need to run Steam games as admin. Modern games and Steam itself are designed to work well without those extra permissions. Unless you're troubleshooting a specific issue, I'd stick to the standard settings.

Just run Steam as administrator by right-clicking the Steam shortcut and choosing 'Run as administrator'. This usually gives all games you launch admin rights too, but it's a bit of a sledgehammer approach. Be cautious, as it might affect how some games save their data.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
