Actually, it's better to run Steam itself as an admin. Just right-click the Steam shortcut, go to 'Properties', head to 'Compatibility', and check 'Run this program as an administrator'. This way, all your games inherit admin rights by default. Saves you the hassle of doing it for each game.

Pro tip: running games as admin might fix some issues, but it can also cause others. Only do it if you really need to.

Nah, running games as admin is overrated. Just make sure your Steam is up to date and most games will run fine without extra permissions.

Running Steam games as admin is a piece of cake! Right-click on the game in your Steam library, click 'Properties', then 'Local files', and finally 'Browse'. Find the game's executable file (.exe), right-click it, choose 'Properties', hop over to the 'Compatibility' tab, and check 'Run this program as an administrator'. Hit 'OK', and boom, you're the admin now!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
