If you already have the game on Epic, there's no official way to bypass the launcher. Consider grabbing it on a different platform!
Just get the Xbox Game Pass! The Outer Worlds is on there, and you can play it without needing Epic. Easy peasy.
As someone who's done this, I picked up the game on Microsoft Store. It runs without the Epic Launcher and syncs achievements to Xbox Live!
