Right-click on the game’s shortcut, go to Properties, then the Compatibility tab, and check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' and select an older version of Windows. Boom, vampire magic!

I had to do this myself! Right-click the shortcut or .exe, hit Properties, go to Compatibility, check 'Run this program in compatibility mode,' and select Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Worked like a charm for me!

Just right-click the Bloodlines .exe file, choose Properties, hit the Compatibility tab, and check the box for 'Run this program in compatibility mode' before selecting the version of Windows you need. Easy peasy!

Smash that right-click on the Vampire Bloodlines .exe, head to Properties, hop over to the Compatibility tab, and pick an older Windows version. Done!

Don't mess with compatibility modes. Just get the unofficial patch - it's a game-changer.
