Always have a scanner and a repair tool handy. You鈥檒l need to fix stuff and scan for cool blueprints while exploring the ship. Oh, and don't forget a Seaglide for quick escapes!
Your best bet is to upgrade your fins and get a first aid kit. Speed and health can be lifesavers when things get hairy out there.
