First off, dim that screen! Lowering the brightness can seriously save some juice. Also, tweak your game settings to lower performance settings - you might not need ultra quality on the go. Don't forget to close unnecessary background apps and consider using Steam's built-in frame rate limiter to cap those FPS. Lastly, try to stick to less demanding games when you're out and about to keep that battery lasting longer.

Hot take: Just carry an extra power bank. Why worry about saving battery when you can charge on the go?

Actually, setting your Steam Deck to Airplane Mode when you don't need internet can save a lot of battery. It stops all wireless communications, which can be a big drain. Worked wonders for me during a long trip!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
