Saving in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is super easy and kind of cool because you get to talk to Isabelle or the other charming characters when you're ready to wrap up your day in your village. Just hit the Start button on your Nintendo 3DS, and select 'Save and Quit'. Isabelle will take it from there, making sure all your progress is safely stored, allowing you to pick up right where you left off next time you play!

I've played ACNL for years and here's a hot take: forget saving sometimes and enjoy the thrill. But seriously, don't. Always save your progress unless you're cool with losing your rare fish and bugs. Start button > Save and Quit, always.

Just press Start and tap 'Save and Quit'. Done. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
