Just bring the amiibo close to the controller and Mario takes care of the rest. No sweat!

First, make sure amiibo functionality is turned on in the settings. Then, tap your amiibo figure on the Joy-Con's right stick or the middle of the Pro Controller's D-Pad. Mario magic awaits!

Turn on amiibo functionality from the game menu, then just tap your amiibo on the right stick of the Joy-Con. Boom, done!

To scan an amiibo in Super Mario Odyssey, just hold the amiibo to the NFC touchpoint on your Joy-Con or Pro Controller while you're in the game. It's a breeze!
