I had trouble with this at first, but then I realized my camera app wasn't set to scan QR codes automatically. Went into the settings, turned on QR code scanning, and boom! It worked like magic. Now I can easily access Steam stuff with a quick scan.
To scan a Steam QR code, just open your smartphone's camera app and point it at the QR code. Most modern phones can recognize a QR code right away. If it doesn't work, you might need to download a QR code scanner app from your phone's app store. Once your phone recognizes the Steam QR code, it'll show you a notification or a link to tap on, which should take you straight to the relevant content within Steam.
