From personal experience, focusing on parallel plays (adding letters to existing words to form multiple new ones) can dramatically increase your scores. Don’t overlook the power of adding just one or two letters to multiple words at once.
You won't hit 1000 points every game, but playing a lengthy game with lots of turns gives you more chances to stack up those points. Patience and strategy are key!
