Easiest way? Just wander up to any workshop you've claimed (like the one in Sanctuary Hills), open the workshop interface, and you'll see an option to 'Transfer.' Dump all your junk in there, and then, when you're crafting or building, it'll automatically break down the junk into useful components for you. No need to manually scrap each bottle cap or desk fan!

To scrap junk on the fly, drop it on the ground in one of your settlements. Enter the workshop mode, hover over the item, and press the scrap button. You get the materials right there. Bit of a hassle, but it's a workaround if you need components ASAP and aren't near a workshop storage.

Just sell it; who needs to scrap when you can get caps instead?

Actually, scrapping is super satisfying. I once spent an entire evening turning Sanctuary into a post-apocalyptic Ikea catalog. Drop, enter workshop mode, scrap, and dream of a cleaner wasteland.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
