Just a quick tip: make sure both your Roku and smartphone are on the same Wi-Fi network, or it ain’t gonna work!
If you're on Android, head to your phone's settings, find 'Screen Mirroring' or 'Cast', and choose your Roku device from the list. Easy peasy!
From my experience, Miracast on Windows works like a charm. Just hit the Windows key and type 'Connect', then select your Roku device. Voila!
