Screen recording on the Steam Deck? Easy peasy! Just press the 'Steam' button to bring up the Steam Overlay, then press the '...' button to access the Quick Access Menu. From there, tap on 'Capture' to start recording your gameplay. To stop, just hit 'Capture' again. Voila, you're a content creator now!

Believe it or not, you don't need anything fancy to record gameplay on your Steam Deck. The built-in feature does the job pretty well. Just a couple of button presses and you're good to go. Pro tip: Make sure you have enough storage space before you start your recording session.

Honestly, I always use an external capture card for higher quality recordings. The built-in feature is cool for casual stuff, but if you're serious about content creation, invest in a capture card.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
