I usually just use Snipping Tool on Windows. Open it up, select the window, and BAM, screenshot done.
If you're on Steam, just press F12 to take a screenshot. You can find your screenshots later via the Steam overlay. Easy peasy!
For PS and Xbox players, use the 'Share' or 'Capture' button on your controller. Instant screensots galore!
Honestly, all you need is the good ol' Print Screen key. Works every time.
