How to See Chat in Apex Legends on PS4
Unfortunately, you can't see text chat directly on PS4 because Apex Legends doesn't support text chat on consoles yet. But, you can still use voice chat to communicate with your squad.

To see the chat in Apex Legends on your PS4, just press the touchpad button during a match. It'll bring up the chat window where you can see messages from your team. Remember, communication is key to victory!
Just use voice chat, folks. Apex is all about quick decisions and movements; typing out messages on PS4 would take forever anyway.
