Forget it, they're gone! Maybe ask your friend to resend the important stuff.
I've been there! Sometimes, you can find a bit of the conversation in email notifications or if the person you were chatting with still has the messages.
Unfortunately, once Facebook messages are deleted, they're gone for good. Maybe try checking your email notifications if you had them turned on!
