Just hit Shift+Tab while in-game to open the Steam Overlay, then head to settings and you'll find the FPS counter option. No need for those bulky third-party apps!

Steam has a super easy built-in way to show FPS without needing extra software. Just go to Steam > Settings > In-Game and check the 'In-Game FPS counter' option. You can choose where on the screen to display it and even change its color if it's hard to see against your game's graphics.

Honestly, just download a third-party app. Steam's FPS counter is too basic.

Using Steam's own FPS counter is the best way to avoid cluttering your PC with extra software. Been using it for years and it's as accurate as you need for casual gaming.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
