You can also enable the FPS counter in the settings. Go to Options > Main Parameters > Show FPS.

I always use Steam's built-in FPS counter. Just enable it through the Steam overlay settings. Works like a charm!

Just use another tool like MSI Afterburner for more detailed stats if you want a bit more info on performance.
