To check the version of a game on Steam, right-click the game in your library, go to 'Properties,' then click the 'LOCAL FILES' tab. There should be an option that says 'View local files.' Usually, you can find the version number in one of the files, like a Readme or a specifically named version file. If not directly visible, checking the game's properties through the executable file sometimes helps too.

Honestly, I just Google the game version most of the time. Faster and no fuss.

Just go to the game's community hub or forums on Steam. Devs often post update logs or announcements there, and you can find the version info pretty easily.

Not all games show their version number easily on Steam, kind of annoying tbh.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
