To figure out how rare your Pokemon card is, flip it over and check the bottom right corner for a symbol. A circle means it's common, a diamond is uncommon, and a star means it's rare. If you see a star with an 'H' or three stars, you've got yourself a super rare card. Some cards might also have special symbols or colors to indicate they're part of a limited edition set or a secret rare, so keeping an eye out for those is key too!

Honestly, I've been collecting for years and the best tip is to just use a price guide online. The symbols tell you the basic rarity, but market value? That's a whole other game. I've had 'common' cards worth way more than some 'rares' just because of demand.

Just look at the bottom corner, dude. Star = rare, circle = common, diamond = you're getting warmer, but not quite there. Super rare stuff has funny symbols like 'H' stars or weird colors.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
