The best way? Ask a friend to gift you something first. ;) But seriously, just check your Inventory under your profile on the Steam client. You'll find all your gifts chilling there.

Honestly, just email the person who said they sent you a gift. Sometimes Steam can be a bit finicky with showing gifts immediately in the inventory.

I don't get why people fuss about Steam gifts. Isn't it simpler to just buy games directly?

Easy peasy! Just fire up Steam, click on your username right at the top, then from the drop-down menu, hit 'Inventory'. Voila! All your gifts and goodies are there waiting for you. It's like Christmas every time you open it.

Just check your Inventory. If you can't see your gift, log out then log back in. Works like a charm.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company. The logos and other identifying marks attached are trademarks of and owned by each represented company and/or its affiliates. Please visit each company's website for additional terms and conditions.
