For the completionists out there: Grab the Clentaminator from the Steampunker and some Green Solution. Blast it everywhere as you fly around with wings or a mount. Not only does it reveal the map, but it also cleanses any corruption or crimson, killing two birds with one stone!
Just explore, dude. There's no cheaty way to see it all without actually walking/flying through it.
Honestly, just download a map viewer. There are a few good ones out there that let you load up your world file and see everything without having to lift a pixelated finger.
