Go to your DMs. If there’s a green dot next to a friend's profile pic, they’re online. Or, it'll show 'Active now.' Simple!
Check the Activity Status in your Direct Messages; a green dot means they’re online. If someone turned off their status, you can't see it.
Green dot in DMs tells you who's online. To note: they have to enable 'Activity Status' in settings.
