Just tap the Friends icon on your homepage, then hit 'Friend Requests'鈥攙oila, there they are!
Trust me, I spend too much time on Facebook. Just click on the 'Friends' tab on the left side of your home page and you'll find 'Friend Requests'.
It's in the notifications, duh.
