Selling specific items in Fallout Shelter is pretty straightforward. Once you're in your Vault, tap on the Pip-Boy icon in the lower right corner of the screen. Go to the 'Storage' section where you'll see all your collected items. From there, just tap on the item you want to sell, and you should see an option to 'Sell' pop up. Remember, think twice before selling off anything - some items might seem useless but could be super important for a quest or upgrading your dwellers!
