To send a friendo request in Splatoon 2, you gotta head to your Nintendo Switch's HOME Menu, click on your profile icon, and then search for your potential Ink buddy via their Nintendo Friend Code or username. Easy peasy!

Just use the Nintendo Switch's friend features, not in-game. It's a Switch thing, not a Splatoon thing.

I've sent tons of friend requests in Splatoon 2! Just access your Switch profile and use the Add Friend option. Look out for the friend code part to find your squid pals!
